This is a special year to be a part of stewardship in Banff National Park, as we celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday!
There are opportunities for individuals and groups to participate, from April until late October, to a variety of projects offered such as:
– helping with an Earth Day BioBlitz as well as other research and monitoring projects;
– hiking and reporting on trail conditions and being assistant leaders on guided hikes;
– trail work with groups; event support; litter picks and weed pulls;
– and some backcountry and other leadership assignments.
Training, gear, and volunteer uniforms are provided.
