Mountain clothes donations anyone?!

Mountain clothes donations anyone?!
September 29, 2017 Nathalie Drotar
Here is an incentive to cleaning up your mountain clothes closet!

I am running a mountain-based program with at-risk youth in Revelstoke, through the non-profit organization Open Mountains Project in partnership with the Revelstoke Secondary School. We are seeking used but still functional (patched is ok!) technical clothing in order to equip our youth for their mountain adventures this fall. Our first mountaineering trip is scheduled for Oct 4–6, so that’s our current deadline for sourcing gear.

Items we most need are:
– Waterproof breathable pants
– Waterproof breathable jackets
– Insulated jackets (small puffy)
– Insulated vests
– Fleece jackets
– Fleece pants
– Mitts
– Gloves
– Toques
– Buffs
The youth are aged 15–17; adult sizes work well.

You can drop items off at Yamnuska in Canmore or 408 4th St E in Revelstoke in the bin on the front porch, or if you are non-Revelstoke-based and would like to contribute, please email me directly at r.d.reimer@gmail.com or text to 250-256-9242 to see if some kind of alternate drop-off can be arranged.

Thank-you in advance for your support in re-purposing your gear!
