Kidd Goat Multipitch March 30 2016
April 2, 2016 Sheena Lambert

Tobias, Sly, and I (Sheena) climbed grey waves on Kidd Goat under grey skies and light rain showers.  We met at the trail head and then zoomed to Canmore to achieve our first objective: summiting the couch at the local bagel joint while drinking coffee and summoning the sun.  The food ran out and the sun still hid behind the rain clouds so we zoomed back to complete our second objective: climbing grey waves while having tonnes of fun and heckling each other as much as possible.  Tobias and Sly were our rope guns and took turns leading the sweet meandering limestone route like bosses while I followed, took photos and decimated the local tic population by smashing them with rocks.  The route is well bolted on solid rock, flowy shifting from slab to vertical and back, grippy and very enjoyable.  On the way down we found that there are multiple options for rappel stations  so we were glad to be aware of the length of our ropes.  It was a great day to celebrate Tobias’s anniversary of climbing.
