Please see the link for the Construction Closure Update for Ha Ling Trail HERE
Please be advised that due to the early season large, deep accumulations of snow, conditions are no longer safe for construction work to continue at Ha Ling. As a result of the construction work not being complete, several hazards exist throughout the trail.
Due to the lack of hazard visibility and wayfinding issues, Ha Ling Peak will remain closed over the winter of 2018/2019 to ensure the safety of Alberta Parks users.
Alberta Parks will not permit access to hiking and climbing routes on Ha Ling Peak during the area closure. Alberta Parks users are asked to continue to respect the closure notices for their own safety and the safety of workers.
Visitors looking for alternatives to Ha Ling Peak can call the Kananaskis Information Line at 1-403-678-0760 or via a Kananaskis Information Centre such as Barrier Lake, Bow Valley or Peter Lougheed.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding, have a great day!
