    The Alberta access listed in Alan Kane’s old guide is not the best one to use as it requires crossing private property.

    Use the BC access from the rest area via the pipeline cutline ROW.
    There is a road from the west end of the rest area leading to the pipeline cutline. Their are no-motorizted-vehicle signs-if you’re ambitious enough to mountain bike, then the pipeline/transmission line/microwave tower access road has been improved/repaired since the 2013 flood.

    Phillipps Peak is worthwhile on a Tecumseh trip.
