    WildSnow did a technical review of the Arc’teryx Voltair avalanche airbag.

    Long story short – it looks frickin amazing. It’s also worth more than my favourite car. That isn’t hard because the PWDRWGN is worthless, but still $1700USD for a pack is nuts – even if it’s a fancy airbag. I haven’t seen the price anywhere in Canada yet, but $2k is one hell of a psychological barrier. I’ve been using my SnowPulse airbag for 5 or 6 years now and thought the $1200 price at the time was nuts (thankfully they were liberal with pro-deals) – seeing the price going UP despite increased adoption is a tough pill to swallow…
