I keep thinking about getting a cannister stove but I’m sort of at a loss as to which way to go.

I really like some of the features of the MSR Reactor stove but it’s heavier and only works with special pots.

Wildsnow just took a look at the Jetboil MicroMo which looks like while it isn’t as wind defeating as I think the Reactor is, it’s more compact and Jetboils work with any pot.

Of course an MSR Pocket Rocket is pretty much impossible to beat on cost and weight – but you lose the speed and efficiency.

What to do, what to do? (probably just keep using my old Dragonfly for another 20 years…)
