It’s been the busiest year on record for CASBC activities. From Revelstoke to Lantzville, from Prince George to Castlegar, we’re hard at work seeing that access to BC’s crags, cliffs and boulder fields are unfettered. Part of that process is convincing land owners and mangers that we represent the interests of climbers’ Province-wide. That’s where you come in. As a past member of CASBC, I’m making an impassioned plea for you to once again become a member. It’s a measly $10 (less then a decent lunch or a trip to a climbing gym). It shows you value your outdoor climbing experience enough to maintain CASBC, the voice protecting a climbing “inventory” which is always under threat by bureaucracy, misinformation and distrust.
Just a few of the things we’re involved in presently: facilitating the purchase of Kinnard Bluffs, supporting the Park Watch program in Skaha, protecting the climbing opportunities in Cypress Village, organnizing trail days in Squamish, working out the access to Sansum Narrows and Lantzville Foothills. Your area might be next on the list. Join today make our voice stronger.
