The Parks Canada Family Group Discovery Pass (annual pass) is on sale for $109.00, a 20% discount from the regular price of $136.40, throughout the months of November and December, 2018.
The Discovery Pass gives you unlimited admission for 12 months at over 80 Parks Canada places nationwide that typically charge a daily entrance fee. All revenue generated from Park Pass sales is directly reinvested into the parks, through quarterly and yearly development and maintenance allocations, These developments and repairs affect day use areas, hiking and biking trails, public safety and infrastructure, and the continuation of information and interpretive services.
All persons who stop to visit the parks require a valid National Park Pass. In the Rockies, this includes stops in the Town of Banff, the Village of Lake Louise, and the Town of Jasper – whether it’s to attend a conference, go for a day hike, front or back country camping, or to participate in a guided tour. It is also required to have a valid National Park Pass to travel the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) from Lake Louise to Jasper.
You can purchase park passes in person at Parks Canada’s park gates and information centres as well as online.
